Says You will be at in Nashville, TN -

Says You! "A game of words and whimsy, bluff and bluster" is an American panel radio show created by host Richard Sher and produced by Pipit & Finch, Boston, Mass. Led by the witty and erudite host Sher and his group of equally literarily informed and entertaining panelists, Barry Nolan, Francine Achbar, Tony Kahn, Carolyn Faye Fox, Arnie Reisman, Paula Lyons and Phil Salkind, Says You is a much loved broadcast on 130 National Public Radio stations nationwide. Both in its panel-game format and its literary bent, the show's debt to the BBC's now defunct My Word! is evident. Rounds 1, 3, and 5 vary from week to week. Rounds consist of word games, brain teasers, trivia and parlor games. Typical games include "What's the Difference?," "Odd Man Out," "What Came First?," "Melded Movies," and variations of anagrams, homonyms and other language games. Rounds 2 and 4 are the same game each week, known as the Says You! bluffing round. It's a variation on the popular word game fictionary. The three members of one team are given an obscure word; one of them gets the actual definition, and the other two must bluff with fake definitions composed within a minute or so. The other team attempts to select the correct definition. Points are awarded for guessing or bluffing successfully. The show's website is integrated with the show, allowing audience members to suggest questions for the show through the website for inclusion in the show. The popular syndicated radio show of "worldly" quizzes comes to TPAC's James K Polk Theater on August 22 & 23 for two live tapings - both of which will air at a later date.
