Modern Masters brings the work of three internationally renowned choreographers together for a hand-selected program that shines a spotlight on some of the most innovative, spectacularly grand dance that’s come out of the ballet world. The program will feature work by choreographers Christopher Wheeldon, Jiří Kylián and George Balanchine.
During this series, Mitchell Korn and Nashville Ballet artistic staff members will illustrate the road to premiering this rare, limited engagement right here in Music City.
Participants will learn about:
- Each choreographer’s significance to the dance world
- The three ballets that will be featured on stage
- Why this program is a big deal for Nashville’s arts scene
This lecture series will take place before Modern Masters is performed at TPAC’s Jackson Hall May 4-8. Click here to learn more about the performance.
